AT CAPARSA IN THE VINEYARD:

NO USE OF WEED KILLERS, REDUCTION IN THE USE OF PESTICIDES (60% LESS THAN STANDARD PRATICE) WHICH ARE REPRESENTED ONLY BY SULFUR AND COPPER SULFATE EXCLUDING THEREFORE SYNTHETIC PRODUCTS. FERTILIZATION IS CARRIED OUT EXCLUSIVELY WITH MANURE AND/OR OTHER ORGANIC BASED PRODUCTS. 

AT CAPARSA IN THE CELLAR:

THE WINE UNDERGROES THE TRADITIONAL "GOVERNO" PROCESS, FERMENTS ONLY ON WILD YEASTS AND IS NOT MANIPULATED IN ANY WAY

ESTATE CAPARSA

The old Caparsa farmhouse have been owened by the Cianferoni family since 1965. Of the 67 hectares (165.5 acres) of estate property, about 12 (29.6) are planted in wines with 9.58 (23.7) yielding Chianti Classico. The vines grow at an average altitude of 480 meters (1,575 feet).
